Who can use the New Ireland Broker Centre App?

The App is available to Insurance Brokers who are already registered users of New Irelands Broker Centre website.

Background

The New Ireland Broker Centre is an online website that allows Brokers access to a range of services to enable them to transact business with New Ireland.

One of the services provided is called Pipeline and it allows Brokers to track the progress of new business applications they have submitted that are in the process of being underwritten by New Ireland.

Under the current process when there is an update to the status (referred to as a ‘requirement’) of a new application the Broker is sent an email with a link which allows them to (subject to security measures) to access the update. Up until now this service was geared towards Brokers using laptops/desktops.

With the advent and proliferation of iPhones and use of Apps we have identified a gap in our service offering. This has resulted in the development of the Pipeline App which will offer Brokers an alternative way of accessing their Pipeline updates.

What does it do?

It allows Insurance Brokers easy access to their new business Pipeline which keeps them informed of the progress of business they have submitted and also advises them of any actions they need to take to ensure a speedy completion of the processing and issuing of a case.

•The icon badge number on the App will reflect the number of unread updates.
•Quick access via secure 5 digit PIN.
•View all cases in the pipeline with most recent ones shown first.
•Tapping an update/requirement will mark it as read.
•A requirements status will be shown as one of; Pending, Waived or Received.
•Filter cases by; All, Pending, Waived or Received.
•Displays the final underwriting decision.
•Search facility for a specific case.
•View a summary of the policy details and benefits for each case.
•Change PIN code functionality.
